Ten days annual training camp of NCC Naval Unit concluded at Desh Bhagat University

The National Cadet Corps 1 PB Naval Unit Naya Nangal concluded its highly successful ten-days camp with a grand concluding function, showcasing the spirit of discipline, camaraderie and skill development among the cadets. Brought together 400 cadets from different schools, who participated enthusiastically in a range of activities aimed at fostering leadership and teamwork. The camp organized under the able leadership of Captain Harjit Singh Deol, unit commander officer,1pb naval unit  Naya Nangal. Featured a series of rigorous training sessions, cybersecurity, weapon training, adventure activities and interactive workshops. Cadets engaged in drills, obstacle courses and specialized training modules, honing their physical endurance and tactical skills under the supervision of seasoned NCC trainers.14 Cadets of NCC Navy from Desh Bhagat University and 15 Cadets Desh Bhagat Global School, Mandi Gobindgarh joined Annual Training Camp 83. The chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro chancellor Dr.Tajinder Kaur motivational the cadets for joining such camps and and applauded the parents for co-operating school and university. Dr.Pramod Mondal, Director Academics, Dr .Sudip Mukharjee,Registrar and Dr. Ajaypal Singh Shekhawat, NCC Coordinator DBU, CTO Gurjeet Singh, CTO Chamanpreet Kaur, ANO Simranjit singh and other staff members of DBU attend the camp and motivate Cadets. The highlight of the concluding function was a spectacular display of talents, where cadets demonstrated their proficiency in various disciplines such as drill formations, cultural performances and knowledge-based competitions. The audience, comprising dignitaries, parents and fellow cadets applauded the dedication and achievements of the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Captain Harjit Singh Commanding Officer commended the cadets for their exemplary conduct and emphasized the importance of NCC in shaping disciplined and responsible citizens of tomorrow. He highlighted the role of such camps in instilling values of leadership, patriotism, and community service among youth.
The camp not only focused on physical and mental fitness but also on instilling values of teamwork, resilience and national pride. Cadets were encouraged to imbibe these values and apply them in their daily lives, both within and outside the NCC framework.In conclusion, the NCC camp's concluding function served as a testament to the dedication and commitment of the cadets and organizers alike. It reinforced the NCC's mission to nurture young minds and build a strong foundation for the future leaders of our nation.
