The makers of director Rishab Shetty's eagerly awaited film, 'Kantara: Chapter 1', which will be a prequel to the blockbuster 'Kantara', on Monday wished their director "a divine and glorious birthday."

Taking to its X timeline, Hombale Films, the production house producing the next part in the franchise, wrote, "Where legends are born and the roar of the wild echoes… #Kantara – A prequel to the masterpiece that moved millions. Wishing the trailblazing force behind the legend, @shetty_rishab a divine and glorious birthday. The much-awaited prequel to the divine cinematic phenomenon… #KantaraChapter1 roars into cinemas worldwide on October 2nd, 2025."

For the unaware, Kantara was a pan Indian blockbuster featuring Rishab Shetty in a dual role, along with Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, and Achyuth Kumar. The film's story revolved around a Kambala champion who is at loggerheads with an upright forest officer.

Well known Tamil film director and actor S J Suryah on Monday disclosed that Oscar winner A R Rahman would be scoring the music for his upcoming film 'Killer' and welcomed the Mozart of Madras onboard the team.

Taking to his X timeline, S J Suryah made the announcement. Posting pictures of himself with the iconic music director, he wrote, "Yah, it’s none other than our Isai Puyal (Musical storm), the musical legend, Indian pride, our your one and only @arrahman sir. Director Rajavel’s upcoming fantasy horror entertainer ‘House Mates’, featuring actors Darshan and Kaali Venkat in the lead, will hit screens worldwide on August 1 this year, its makers have now announced.

After "Sikandar", Salman Khan is all set to grace the big screen once again with the forthcoming war drama, "Battle Of Galwan". Giving the movie buffs an initial glimpse of Apoorva Lakhia’s directorial, the makers have unveiled the first look poster from the drama.

The second schedule of #NC24 begins in Hyderabad and will be shot across three different locations. It’s going to be an adrenaline-charged ride."

They also released a new poster to announce the beginning of the second schedule. The poster had the tag line, "One step deeper;One swing closer."
