Music icon and five-time Grammy winner Elton John has revealed that he has lost his sight following an eye infection.

The singer said at a performance of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical that he was only able to enjoy the show in an auditory manner.

“I have lost my sight and I haven’t been able to see the performance but I have enjoyed listening to it,” he said on stage at the charity event for the Elton John AIDS Foundation held at The Dominion Theatre in London on Sunday evening, reports.

According to the Daily Mail, he was assisted off stage by his husband David Furnish.

“To my husband who’s been my rock because I haven’t been able to come to many of the previews,” he added, according to the Daily Mail.

Actor Vikrant Massey, who is basking in the success of his latest film “The Sabarmati Report”, has decided to call it quits in acting aged 37 and shared that he realised “it's time to recalibrate and go back home.”

On Monday morning, Vikrant, who will be seen in "Zero Se Restart" took everyone by shock after announced that he planned to step back from acting after 2025. He penned a note on Instagram, which read: “Hello, The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support A But as I move forward, I realise its time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor.”

He said that 2025 will be one last time he will be seen.

Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, has heaped praise on his co-star from the film Rashmika Mandanna.

The pair recently attended a press event in Mumbai during the promotional campaign of the film where Allu Arjun spoke highly of Rashmika. He went on to say that the ‘Pushpa’ franchise is incomplete without her character of Srivalli.

During the event, Allu Arjun highlighted Rashmika’s unwavering support, calling her the kind of person who uplifts everyone around her.

Allu Arjun said, "I want to take two minutes and thank her for everything she has done for this film. Her support is immense. There is no way this film is complete without Srivalli's support. Me and my director have so much admiration for her because we keep shooting every day, and she comes once in a while. When she comes, those days are so pleasant. Amid her ongoing feud with stepdaughter Esha Verma, renowned television actress Rupali Ganguly has jetted off for a family holiday in Goa with husband Ashwin Verma and their son Rudransh.

In a recent development, actor Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth have officially been granted a divorce by the Chennai Family Welfare Court.

The court's verdict comes after both parties expressed their inability to continue living together. Dhanush and Aishwarya appeared before the family court in Chennai on November 21, where they expressed their desire to part ways. The judge overseeing the divorce case adjourned the hearing to November 27, when the final verdict was expected to be delivered.

The duo tied the knot in 2004 in a grand wedding in Chennai, and after 18 years of marriage, they released a joint statement revealing their decision to part ways.

The statement read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa/Dhanush and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this (sic).”

They continue to co-parent their sons, Yatra and Lingaa. The two announced their separation on social media in 2022 and later filed for divorce.

Music icon Mohammed Rafi’s son Shahid Rafi has announced a biopic on his iconic father.

Shahid also shared that filmmaker Umesh Shukla, known for making films such as “OMG-Oh My God!” and “Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge”, is in talks for helming the upcoming movie.

The biopic will officially be announced next month, as December 24, 2024 will mark Rafi's 100th birthday.

Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan has revealed her winter favourite delicacies, which include the Gujarati and Punjabi dish undhiyu and sarso ka saag.

Sara shared a picture of a table with the winter green delicacies kept on the table. One had undhiyu written on it, while the other was tagged as sarso ka saag.” The actress added the “fresh” and “saag paneer” stickers on the post.

“My two favourite things!! Winter is here Only love and thanks to @krishoparekh,” she wrote as the caption.

Undhiyu, which is a mixed-vegetable dish that is a regional specialty of Surat in Gujarat. The name of this dish comes from the Gujarati word undhu, which translates to 'upside-down', since the dish is traditionally cooked upside-down underground in earthen pots called matlu that are fired from above.

Sarson ka saagoriginated in the Punjab region. The dish is known as sarson ka saag in Hindi, sarson da saag in Punjabi, sarsav nu shaak in Gujarati,and sariso saag in Maithili.
