A high-speed racer biker hit the Activa, the motorcycle caught fire on the spot

2 people died in a terrible road accident on Ludhiana Chandigarh National Highway on Sunday morning. According to information, a mother and her son from Hedon village were coming towards Samrala on their Activa and suddenly they forgot some things at home. When the village Kotla started to turn back home from Samashpur, a high-speed racer biker going from Ludhiana towards Chandigarh hit the Activa hard. Due to this terrible collision, the rider of the racer motorcycle and the woman rider of the Activa died on the spot, while the young Manpreet Singh son of Paramjit Singh, resident of village Hedon, who was driving the Activa, was seriously injured, who was admitted to Civil Hospital Samrala.

The collision was so fierce that the motorcycle caught fire on the spot which was extinguished with the help of the fire brigade. As soon as the information was received, police chief Rau Varinder Singh along with his police party reached the spot and brought the dead bodies to Civil Hospital Samrala and after conducting post-mortem of both bodies, the dead bodies were handed over to the heirs.Further action has been started by the police. The deceased woman has been identified as Parminder Kaur (55), wife of Parminder Singh, a resident of Hedon, and the motorcycle rider has been identified as Vivek Chauhan, son of Jaspal Chauhan, a resident of Chandigarh.
