On Tuesday, it rained in many parts of Haryana including Chandigarh and Punjab, due to which the temperature dropped by a few degrees. Meanwhile, Panchkula and Mohali districts also received heavy rain in the morning, which brought some relief from the humid weather.
According to the reports of the Indian Meteorological Department, after recording 21 mm of rain, the arrival of monsoon was announced in Chandigarh on Monday, due to which there has been a slight drop in the maximum temperature.
Some reports also said that the IMD office of Chandigarh on Sunday has issued a forecast of heavy rain in many districts of Punjab and Haryana in the next few days. Along with this, orange alert has also been issued regarding rain in the city.
According to the alert, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra and some districts of Punjab on Wednesday also. In such a situation, today people in Chandigarh have heaved a sigh of relief. People were waiting for rain for many days. In such a situation, people have got great relief during this period.
