Heavy rains lashed the Tricity after the monsoon hit. This rain started early today and many roads were flooded. The wall of the colony falling on the road dividing 49-50 in Sector-50 fell down this morning. Due to this, two scooters were damaged. The road of three BRDs in Sanati Area Phase 2 has been flooded. Apart from this, it rained heavily in Mohali and Panchkula today. After continuous rain, the mercury has also dropped and there has been relief from the heat. Monsoon has arrived two days late in Chandigarh. The Meteorological Department has predicted more heavy rain for the next two days.
