The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation has removed illegal encroachments on government lands in Dhanas on the orders of the Supreme Court. The corporation team has removed the temple and mosque built on government land in Dhanas. According to the corporation, earlier due notices were issued in this regard but the encroachment was not removed. After this today the municipal corporation has carried out this operation.Regarding this action, when the team of the Municipal Corporation arrived with a heavy police force, as soon as the news spread about it, the residents of the area gathered and opposed this action of the Corporation. The Corporation continued its operation under heavy police security and removed the encroachments with the help of JCB.
