Chandigarh, July 26 || Swine flu has gripped Chandigarh and the first patient is a doctor himself. Chandigarh Health Department Director Dr. Suman Singh has confirmed this. The patient is currently undergoing treatment in a city hospital. Currently, his condition is said to be stable. But he has been kept under the supervision of doctors. Along with this, after the first case of swine flu came to light, the health department has also come into action. The department has issued an advisory for the public.
The department says that people should not ignore symptoms like fever, headache, cough, cold. These can also be symptoms of a viral fever or flu. Therefore, the department has advised people that if this happens, they should get themselves checked at the nearest health center. The department says flu patients usually recover in three to four days. There is a constant change in temperature during rainy days, due to which people are at risk of getting viral.
