Chandigarh, July 27
After being assured that the demands of the Haryana government will be accepted, the government doctors have ended their indefinite strike today and resumed duty. Haryana Civil Medical Services Association President Dr. Rajesh Khayalia said that the strike was called off after a meeting between representatives of the protesting doctors and Amit Agarwal, Additional Principal Secretary to the Haryana Chief Minister, late on Friday night. He said that the government has accepted the demands of the doctors and has assured to implement them before August 15.
