Two laborers who fell into the water tank of a house under construction died on Friday night. The incident took place in Rampur village, where Nafe Singh was constructing his house and during this time he had forced two laborers to open the shuttering of the underground water tank.
Nafe Singh is getting his house constructed in Rampur village of Kharkhoda. Inside the house, he has constructed an underground tank to store water. To open the shuttering from inside, on Friday, they had put 21 year old Neeraj of Chandrapura, Begusarai, Bihar and 33 year old Kundan of Chilakundi, Khagaria, Bihar inside the hole. But because this pit had been covered for the past several days, there was gas in it.
Due to which Neeraj and Kundan, who were in a rage, got hit by it and became unconscious. When no movement was felt inside the pit, both of them were hurriedly taken out of the pit by Nafe Singh's family. After which both of them were brought to the government hospital in Kharkhoda, but the doctors declared them dead.
Police have taken the dead bodies in their custody and sent them to Civil Hospital, Sonipat for post-mortem. The relatives of the deceased have been informed about the incident and post mortem will be conducted upon their arrival.
