Kurukshetra, September 7
IAS officer Rajesh Jogpal has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra. This comes after IAS officer Sunil Sarwan was transferred following the complaint of Congress.
The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced Santosh Sarwan, mother of Sushil Sarwan who is presently posted as Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer in Kurukshetra, its candidate in the Mulana Assembly constituency.
Following the development, the Congress complained to the Election Commission of India seeking the transfer of IAS officer Sushil Sarwan.
