Uchana/Jind, September 11
In the presence of Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, AAP candidate for the Uchana assembly seat, Pawan Fauji, filed his nomination. Earlier, he addressed party workers at the party office and led a road show in the city. During the road show, Aam Aadmi Party workers and the public showered him with flowers, welcoming him at various locations. MP Raghav Chadha stated that the JJP party would be known as the party whose deposit was forfeited after the assembly elections. He highlighted that voters had previously supported BJP, JJP, and Congress, but this time, they should support Pawan Fauji. Chadha asserted that the next government in Haryana would be formed with the support of the Aam Aadmi Party.
He predicted that the BJP would win fewer than 20 seats in this election and emphasized that any new government in Haryana would need Aam Aadmi Party support. Chadha assured that the Aam Aadmi Party would come to power, bringing change to Haryana akin to Delhi and Punjab, and would serve the people. He criticized the VIP JJP candidate, who, despite being elected by the Uchana people last time, failed to serve them properly. This time, he urged, JJP should be made a party whose deposit is forfeited.
Chadha also emphasized that Arvind Kejriwal, a son of Haryana, should be supported to show the people’s love for him. He urged voters not to waste their votes, stating that Pawan Fauji was destined to win from Uchana. He asked voters to consider the future of their children, better schools, hospitals, and free electricity when casting their votes for the Aam Aadmi Party.
Chadha highlighted Haryana’s highest unemployment rate in the country, attributing it to the BJP leaders’ betrayal of the people. He asserted that the time for change is now, and Pawan Fauji, who comes from a common background and has served the country on the border, would serve the people as an MLA. He insisted that a government in Haryana could not be formed without Aam Aadmi Party support. Citing past elections in Punjab and Delhi where voters switched from Congress and BJP to AAP, he encouraged voters to press the jharoo button, promising lasting impact. He urged voters to avoid the influence of royal families, big leaders, and to make BJP and JJP parties whose deposits are forfeited.
