Chandigarh, September 30
A 13-year-old girl and her aunt got injured in a mishap that took place in Elante Mall in Chandigarh in the sunday evening.
As per information, a tile fell from a pillar which hit a 13-year-old girl and her aunt, due to which both were seriously injured. After which both have been admitted to a private hospital.
The woman has reportedly received several stitches on her head, while the girl has fractured her ribs.
Meanwhile, Elante Mall management, in a statement said that they are cooperating with the effected family and the authorities and would ensure that such incident may not happen in the future.
We are aware of the incident which happened on our premises. Reacting swiftly, our team rushed the customer to the hospital for preliminary treatment and care. We are also cooperating with the authorities in this regard.
Internally, we are inspecting the premises and taking due corrective action to ensure such incidents do not happen in the future
