A case of midnight firing has come to light at a taxi stand located outside GMCH in Chandigarh's Sector-32. Meanwhile, two youths were seriously injured. One was shot in the hand and the other in the neck.
An old grudge is said to be behind the incident. The injured have been identified as Rajesh alias Rock resident of Nawangaon and Honey Bhardwaj resident of Sector-41. He has been admitted to the hospital.
DSP Jaswinder Singh said that we had received information that firing had taken place. Two youths have been shot. One bullet hit his hand and the other hit his neck.
However, both are stable and 32 are hospitalized. DSP said that the witness has told that the injured and the accused were already acquainted. Due to mutual enmity over some matter, an argument broke out between the two and after that firing was done and the accused escaped.
