A girl was arrested on Sunday in the Sindh province of Pakistan following the tragic deaths of 13 family members, which resulted from the intentional poisoning of their food.
This incident occurred as the family opposed her desire to marry according to her own preferences on August 19 in the village of Haibat Khan Brohi, located near Khairpur.The young woman became enraged when her family prohibited her from marrying the man she desired.
Subsequently, she devised a plan with her boyfriend to poison her family members, which included her parents.
“All of the 13 members fell ill after having their food and were rushed to a hospital where all of them died. When the post-mortem was done it emerged that these people had died from poisonous food,” senior police officer Inayat Shah said from Khairpur.
It was found in the probe that accused and her boyfriend had put poison in the wheat used to make rotis in the house.
