The School of Hotel Management and Tourism at Desh Bhagat University organized a spectacular Halloween Party as part of its cultural festivities. Featuring competitions, activities, and themed presentations. Students and faculty participated with enthusiasm, showcasing creativity and teamwork.
On this spooky occasion, various competitions such as Costume Contest, Pumpkin Carving and Face Painting were held. Participants demonstrated their artistic flair and imaginative skills by designing intricate costumes and carving pumpkins to fit the Halloween theme. The event’s theme, “Frightful Fun and Creativity,” was beautifully represented throughout the festivities. Participants competed for titles like "Best Costume," "Scariest Look," and "Most Creative Outfit." Students displayed their artistic skills by painting spooky designs. A DJ floor with spooky-themed tracks and Halloween-inspired performances captivated the audience. Candy stations were set up for participants to enjoy sweet treats.Desh Bhagat University Chancellor, Dr. Zora Singh and Dr. Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor congratulated the department for organizing Halloween party and best wishes for the students and motivate them for future. Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice President, Dr. Virender Singh, Advisor, Dr Parveen Kumar Controller of examination, Dr. Surjeet Patheja Director Media graced the event as the chief guest.In his address, Dr. Zora Singh emphasized the importance of cultural events in fostering creativity and teamwork among students, while Dr. Tajinder Kaur appreciated the efforts of the participants and the organizers.
Dr. Aman Sharma encouraged students to take part in such events to build confidence and leadership skills. The event was coordinated by Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Rinku Singh and Hritik Tomar, whose efforts ensured the program's success.The Halloween Party concluded with laughter, joy, and cherished memories, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating the next celebration.
