BMW collided with a tree, airbags also opened, but 10-year-old child could not be saved

A BMW car met with an accident in Chandigarh. The car was speeding, due to which the driver lost control and the car collided with a tree. A 10-year-old child died in the accident.

Once again, the havoc of high speed has been seen in Chandigarh. Late Thursday night, a high-speed BMW car met with an accident. An innocent child riding in the car died in the accident. This accident happened near the airport light point. Late Thursday night at 1.30 am, a high-speed BMW car went out of control and collided with a tree. The car was badly damaged in the accident. 10-year-old Amen Verma, who was driving the car, died of head injury.

At the same time, Amen's father Awake Verma, a resident of Sector-27, has suffered serious injuries. Sector-31 police station has registered a case of negligent driving against Awake Verma. Awake Verma told the police that suddenly there was some problem in the brake of the car, due to which the brake did not work and the accident happened.

Sector-31 police station in-charge Rajiv Kumar said that this accident happened about 30 meters ahead of the airport light point while coming from Zirakpur to Chandigarh. Awake Verma, who was driving the car, was returning with his son from his in-laws in Zirakpur to his house in Sector-27. Suddenly the brakes of the car failed and the speeding car hit a tree. In the accident, the airbags of the car opened but 10-year-old innocent Amen suffered serious head injuries. Amen Verma was sitting in the front seat.

Son taken to hospital by auto

After the accident, the father took his son Amen to Sector-32 hospital by auto, from where he was referred to PGI in view of his serious condition, where he died. Father Awake Verma has suffered serious injuries on his hand in the accident. A passerby called the police about this accident at around 1.30 am. SHO said that CCTV cameras installed at light points will be checked to find out how the accident happened. Police is currently investigating.

On 22 December, in front of Sector-34 police station, 19-year-old Raunak alias Amandeep, the only son of the family, died when a speeding Thar collided with a tree. In this accident, Aryan, a resident of Sector-21 and Vinayak and Dhananjay Sharma, residents of Ambala, who were riding in the Thar with Raunak, were seriously injured. Raunak was driving the car at the time of the accident. This incident happened late at night around 11:30 pm. In this, the car collided with a tree on the sidewalk.
