The spirit of Basant Panchami was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour at Desh Bhagat Global School (DBGS), Mandi Gobindgarh. The festival, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the patron deity of knowledge, music, and arts, was observed with devotion and excitement.A special assembly was organized where students and teachers came together to offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati, seeking her divine blessings for wisdom and intellect.To make the occasion even more memorable, students showcased their creativity by making beautiful Basant-themed crafts, including colorful paper kites. A thrilling kite-flying activity was enjoyed by students from Grades 6 to 12, adding to the excitement of the day.On this joyous occasion, the School Chairman, Dr. Zora Singh, along with General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur and School Principal Indu Sharma, extended their warm wishes to all students and staff. They emphasized the importance of education and the blessings of Goddess Saraswati in shaping young minds towards a brighter future.
