DBU School of Nursing Observes National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

DBU School of Nursing proudly observed National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day with a significant event aimed at raising awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS.
Led by Lovepreet Kaur and  Gagandeep Kaur, the event emphasized education on HIV prevention, testing, and treatment, while highlighting the health disparities faced by marginalized populations.A standout feature of the event was the active involvement of B.Sc Nursing 1st Semester and GNM 1st-Year students. These students played a pivotal role in the success of the day, particularly by delivering a health talk at Government Senior Secondary School in Amloh. Prof. (Dr.) Lovesampuranjot Kaur, Principal of the School of Nursing, and Dr. Prabhjot Singh, Head of the Department of Community Health Nursing also present on the occasion. Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor commended the School of Nursing for their exemplary efforts in organizing such an impactful event.
