Chandigarh, April 29

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) once again launched a sharp attack on Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, Partap Singh Bajwa, over his statement about 50 grenades. AAP accused Bajwa of running from the police investigation.

AAP leader Sunny Ahluwalia stated that Partap Bajwa initially claimed that 50 grenades entered Punjab, but when the police approached him for questioning, he went to the High Court to defend himself. Even when he appeared before the police, he did not cooperate and only delayed the process.

Now, when the police are asking for the password to his mobile phone to further the investigation, he is refusing under the pretext of privacy and has once again approached the High Court. However, the question arises: if Bajwa’s claims are true, why is he avoiding the investigation?

Ahluwalia questioned, "Is Partap Bajwa's privacy more important than the security of Punjab and its three crore people?" The AAP leader urged Bajwa not to politicize this matter as it concerns the security of the state and the country. He stated that Bajwa should cooperate with the police investigation so that strict action can be taken against those anti-social elements involved with the grenades, ensuring the safety of the public.
