Priyanka Chopra’s daughter Malti thinks she's a Moana

Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas' three-year-old daughter Malti Marie "insists" her name is Moana because she is such a big fan of the Disney character.

The actress described her daughter is a huge fan of princesses, in particular the titular character from the 2016 movie “Moana” and its 2024 sequel.

Speaking on Good Morning America, Priyanka said: "She introduces herself as Malti Marie Moana Chopra Jonas. She insists she's Moana. She insists it's her name, like officially her name in school. She says, 'I'm Malti Marie Moana.'"

Priyanka's daughter loves to dress up in the actress’ closet, reports.

She said: "She loves coming into my closet, wearing my shoes, seeing my dresses. She was with us when we were getting dressed for the Met Gala, and she put on my gloves and my hat and she said, 'Mama and Gaga are going to a ball, just like Cinderella.'"

Global superstar Diljit Dosanjh has been caught in the eye of the storm over his latest film ‘Sardaar Ji 3’. After the singer-actor faced backlash over inclusion of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the film, a clip of him talking fluently in English has resurfaced on the Internet.

In the video, which was shared on Reddit, Diljit can be seen talking to the Grammy President, Harvey Mason Jr. in English. One social media user comments under the video, “When the Grammy President calls, you can no longer continue your act of not knowing English”.

Another commented, “Everything about him in the public domain is a lie!!”. A third wrote, “OMG he was acting all along of not knowing english lmao. Such a fake guy (sic)”.

Sonam shared a video of herself getting a haircut and flaunting her new look and credited her genetics for long thick hair.

In the clip, she was heard saying: “Hi everyone, so I decided to cut 12 inches of my hair. It doesn't seem that much on this video, but it's a foot of hair. My hair has become really long because of my genetics, i.e. Anil Kapoor.”

She added: “I have very long hair and thick hair. And I just felt it was time to kind of chop a lot of it off and give it away to charity. And my hair stylist, Pete, who has been doing my hair and has been taking care of my hair for the last couple of years, and I decided to cut a lot of it off.

Ram Charan's 'Peddi' unit completes filming of huge action night sequence

The unit of director Buchi Babu Sana's eagerly awaited action extravaganza 'Peddi' has now completed filming a terrific night action sequence for the film, featuring actor Ram Charan in the lead.

The film's cinematographer Rathnavelu, considered to be a master of natural lighting, has disclosed that the unit has completed filming the "terrific night action sequence with gritty visuals."

The cinematographer was also full of praise for actor Ram Charan, who he said, "breathes fire".

It may be recalled that the unit had only recently shot a first-of-its-kind train action sequence for the film.

The stunning train sequence was shot on a gigantic set specially erected in Hyderabad. Sources claimed that this sequence would be something that has not been witnessed in Indian cinema before.

As his film ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ clocked 13 years in Hindi cinema, acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui celebrated the moment with a picture posing alongside its director Anurag Kashyap.

Nawazuddin shared a picture of himself alongside Kashyap. The two are standing on a sidewalk, back-to-back, with a tree between them.

“Celebrating 13 years of Gangs Of Wasseypur,” Nawazuddin wrote as the caption.

“Gangs of Wasseypur”, an epic gangster crime film, released in 2012. Centered on the coal mafia of Dhanbad, and the underlying power struggles, politics and vengeance between three crime families, the film stars Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadda, Jaideep Ahlawat, Huma Qureshi and Tigmanshu Dhulia in the major roles. Its story spans 68 years from 1941 to 2009.

Acclaimed star Pankaj Tripathi, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film “Metro…In Dino”, has talked about late singer KK, who crooned numbers like “Alvida” and “O Meri Jaan” from the 2007 movie “Life In A… Metro”.

Talking about “Life In A Metro..”, Pankaj said: “I have seen some parts of Irrfan sir. I have seen Irrfan Khan sir's songs and one or two scenes. I do not remember the whole film. The songs were very good.”

He then went on to discuss the music and said: “They were very good, amazing. I have seen and heard all the songs.”

Asked if he misses KK and his voice, Pankaj said: “Who will not miss him? He was a great artist, a great singer. But that is what happens, an artist lives in our community. Yes. But of course, we miss him.”

It was in 2022, when KK performed a concert at a college festival at Nazrul Mancha in South Kolkata. After the concert, he complained of feeling unwell on the way back to his hotel, where he experienced cardiac arrest. He collapsed, and efforts to revive him at the hotel were unsuccessful. The singer was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI), where he was declared dead.
