‘Singham Again’ title track is packed with action extravaganza

The title track from the upcoming Rohit Shetty directorial ‘Singham Again’ hit the airwaves on Saturday. The track, which capitalises on the signature melody has more grandeur this time around in the movie’s third instalment.

The visuals of the song showcases the team of Singham and his fellow supercops joining forces to fight off the antagonist played by Arjun Kapoor. The visuals promise a cinematic extravaganza upon the film’s release this Diwali.

The title track features the vocals of Santhosh Venky, with music composed by Ravi Basrur and lyrics by Swanand Kirkire. This powerful track, packed with intensity and drama, sets the stage for an epic action experience, exploring themes of justice, strength, and resilience.

The first song from the film, Jai Bajrangbali, has lifted audiences’ spirits, adding to the anticipation for the Diwali release. Now, the second song, the Singham Again title track, is out, encapsulating the legacy of Singham and the mighty force he represents. The song is available to stream on Saregama Music’s YouTube channel.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has reportedly been roped in to play the antagonist in the upcoming vampire comedy ‘Thamba’.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.

According to reports, Siddiqui's character in ‘Thamba’ is described as “eccentric yet violent,” originating from the ancient Vijayanagara Empire. A source close to the development was quoted as saying, “Nawazuddin's antagonist has been imagined as an eccentric yet violent character who lived centuries ago. He travels to the present to seek revenge and control the destinies of the two lead characters.”

The release date for Allu Arjun-starrer “Pushpa: The Rule” has been changed again and will now release on December 5.

Originally set for December 6, the film is now expected to hit theaters a day earlier, on December 5. The film went through several ups and downs related to the release date as it was initially planned to hit the screens in April 2024 and later was pushed for August 15.

Allu Arjun took to Instagram, where he shared a new poster of the film. In the poster, the star is seen smoking a pipe and looking at his gun very seriously.

He captioned the post: “#Pushpa2TheRuleOnDec5th.”

The producers of “Pushpa: The Rule” on Thursday held a press conference to announce the new date.

The filming of the sequel of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s maiden project as an actor “Fauji”, has commenced in Pune.

“Fauji 2”, which also stars Vicky Jain as the lead alongside actress Gauahar Khan, is currently being filmed in Pune’s Symbiosis College.

Gauahar, who plays Lieutenant Colonel Simarjeet Kaur in “Fauji 2”, said in a statement: “It's the first time I’ve agreed to a project without even hearing the script. The moment Sandeep approached me, I said yes because I’m a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan.”

She added: “It’s a surreal feeling to be part of the Fauji universe, and it’s a proud moment to see Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic series being reintroduced.”

While the stage is set for a thrilling clash between this years’ Diwali releases ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, the former seems to have one-upped the Kartik Aaryan-starrer now. ‘Singham Again’ which features a galaxy of Bollywood stars, majority of them portraying supercops, there’s another addition to the mix.

Word is that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will also be seen in a cameo appearance in the film portraying the character of the OG supercop, Chulbul Pandey in ‘Singham Again’ directed by Rohit Shetty.

Although not from the Rohit Shetty cop universe, Chulbul Pandey is an iconic character of Hindi cinema, and was first seen in ‘Dabangg’ directed by Abhinav Kashyap, the brother of the poster boy of independent cinema, Anurag Kashyap.
