This extensive range of projects is set to improve local infrastructure, public services, and community facilities, marking a significant leap forward in the development of the region.

During a public meeting held in Pataudi, the Chief Minister reiterated his government's commitment to the constituency by announcing an additional Rs 10 crore for various development works.

He also announced the opening of a Veterinary Polyclinic and Animal Trauma Centre in the village of Taj Nagar, Gurugram, subject to land availability, at an estimated cost of Rs 1 crore.

After three men were electrocuted on a waterlogged footpath in Haryana's Gurugram on July 31, the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has appointed an Executive Engineer as a Security Officer and also issued a phone number on which people can complain and also send pictures of broken electric fittings.

While giving instructions in this regard, P.C. Meena, Divisional Commissioner Hisar and Managing Director DHBVN said, "The safety of common citizens is our top priority and it is our responsibility to maintain a safe and accident-free system."

Officials said recent observations have exposed the dangerous conditions of electrical assets of consumer residences such as power lines, electric poles, transformers, feeder poles, meters and meter boxes installed on electric poles. These raise serious safety concerns and sometimes lead to fatal and non-fatal accidents.

The Haryana Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday approved a bonus of Rs 2,000 per acre for farmers of all Kharif crops owing to a deficit in southwest monsoon this year.

Talking to the media about the Cabinet's meeting, the Chief Minister said the state has received significantly less rainfall this year compared to the previous year, which has adversely affected crop production.

“To mitigate these challenges, the government has decided to grant a bonus of Rs 2,000 per acre to the farmers for all crops during the current Kharif season,” he said.

Gurugram Police disclose cyber fraud of Rs 12.63 crore committed across India

The cyber crimes teams of Gurugram Police arrested 13 cyber criminals including four women who defrauded people in 3,332 complaints worth Rs 12.63 crore, police said.

According to police, after reviewing the data of mobile phones and SIM cards recovered from the accused by the police from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordinate Center (I4C), it was found that the accused were involved in fraud of about Rs 12.63 crore and around 3,332 complaints were registered against them across India.

In connection with this, out of 3,332 complaints, 148 were converted into cases which were registered across India. Out of 148 cases, four cases were registered against them in different cyber crime police stations across Gurugram.

Water supply in parts of Gurugram will be affected for 36 hours, beginning Sunday, as the master water supply pipeline at Bakhtawar Chowk needs to be relocated.

The shutdown has been scheduled by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) from August 4 to 6 from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m., officials said.

The water supply will be affected in Dayanand Colony, Old Gurugram, Laxman Vihar, New Colony Booster, Choti Mata Booster, Sectors 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 33, 34, 37C, 37D, 81 to 115 and Boosting Station Sector 51 (All Sectors from 42-74, Village Badshahpur).

1 Kanwariya killed, 2 injured in Gurugram road accident

One Kanwariya died while two others sustained serious injuries after a speeding truck hit a bike on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Hemant Meena, a resident of Kotputli, Rajasthan.

Police said that the accident took place on the Rampura flyover on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway and the driver has been arrested.

Following the accident, the Kanwariyas blocked the Delhi-Jaipur highway in protests and demanded Rs 50 lakh and a government job for the family of the deceased as compensation.
