The UT administration has provided 24-hour shop opening facility for traders. But traders are not coming forward with enthusiasm from this side. The administration had implemented this scheme a month ago under which only 35 traders have applied to the department to open shops 24 hours. Under this scheme, opening of bars and liquor shops is not allowed for 24 hours. But restaurants and other produce shops may open 24 hours. Camps are also being conducted by the labor department to make the traders aware about this scheme, but despite this, the traders' administration is not getting any response.
