Writers from Chandigarh, Prem Vij and Dr. Vinod Sharma, were honored with the National Award Sahitya Bhushan.

3rd March, 2025 - Chandigarh - The BPA Foundation and India Netbooks honor writers every year. This year, two prominent writers from Chandigarh, Prem Vij and Dr. Vinod Sharma, were awarded the National-level Sahitya Bhushan Award in recognition of their services to Hindi literature. The awards were presented at Hotel Crown Plaza-13B, Mayur Vihar Phase-1, Delhi.

At the 7th BPA Foundation and India Netbooks Literary Award Ceremony, Girish Pankaj was honored with the Vedvyas Award, Divik Ramesh with the Mahakavi Kalidas Award, and Santosh Srivastav with the Vageshwari Award. The chief guest of the event was Chitra Mudgal.

In the regional language honors, CP Deval was awarded the Special Summit Award for Rajasthani, Ujji Brahma for the Bodo language, 25 Sahitya Vibhushan Awards, 30 Sahitya Bhushan Awards, and 45 Sahitya Ratan Awards were also given.

The Chairman of the BPA Foundation, Sanjeev Kumar, stated that the purpose of the awards is to recognize the remarkable contributions and achievements of those writers who have provided unparalleled services with significant progress in various fields of literature.

On this occasion, Manorama, Kamini Mishra, Pramod Mishra, Piyush Shukla, Mamta Kalia, Prem Janmejaya, Ranvijay Rao, Mukesh Bhardwaj, Madhu Kant, and others were also present.
