Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College Fatehgarh Sahib Organised Seminar on Women Wellness and Healthcare

 

 

Fatehgarh Sahib: Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, in collaboration with Motherhood Hospital Chandigarh, organized a seminar on Women Wellness and Healthcare on 22 nd August 2024. The event was jointly organized by the Women Grievance Cell and NSS Unit of the college under the guidance of Dr. Lakhvir Singh, Principal of the college. Dr. Navdeep Kaur, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, delivered a comprehensive seminar, creating awareness about women's health and wellness among the female staff and students of the college. She also addressed their queries and concerns, providing valuable insights and advice.In addition to the seminar, a plantation drive was also initiated at the college, with Sinder Singh, Nursing Assistant, BBSBEC, and Dr. Sarbjeet Kaur, leading the effort. Dr. Navdeep Kaur planted saplings, emphasizing the importance of a healthy environment for overall well-being.This joint venture aimed to promote women's health, wellness, and empowerment, and was a significant step towards creating a supportive and inclusive community at the college.
