Campaigning for the Punjab University Student Council elections is over, voting will be held tomorrow

The campaigning for the Punjab University Student Council elections has ended. Voting will be held on September 5. The candidates campaigned in North and South campuses of PU and appealed for votes in their favour. Candidates canvassed classrooms during the day to solicit votes from students and held rallies outside departments for campaigning. The student wing rallied in chemistry, geography and other nearby departments and candidates showed strength in UIET.

Tarun Siddha, the presidential candidate from Soi, was also seen campaigning in UIET. Sara, the presidential candidate from PSU Lalkar, campaigned by visiting one to four Arts Blocks, BA-BEd, ISSER, Science, Mathematics and Psychology departments. ABVP started the rally in the evening raising slogans from Boys Hostel 2 and urging all students to vote. The entire panel was seen together in the rally. Meanwhile, the supporters also waved the stickers of the candidates. The park of SD College located in Sector-32 was seen full of stickers.
