RIMT University Students Visit Duke Fashions India Ltd

Students pursuing Fashion Designing at RIMT University visited Duke Fashions India Ltd. (Unit-2, Kadiyan, Ludhiana), one of India's leading textile manufacturing and design companies. According to the university spokesperson, the main objective of the visit was to familiarize students with the working methods of various departments in the textile industry. Duke Fashion, established by Chairman Kamal Kumar Jain, is a prominent apparel and footwear brand in India. During the visit, students interacted with company officials and gained insights into the company's role in the fashion industry. They observed various departments, including manufacturing processes, design development, fabric designing, marketing, commercial, graphic designing, printing, embroidery, textile dyeing and finishing, and quality control.The university spokesperson stated that the industrial visit to Duke Fashions (India), Ludhiana, was a high educational experience for fashion design students. Students returned with a clear understanding of the fashion industry's workings and increased motivation to pursue careers in this field. The visit highlighted the importance of innovation and quality in the fashion industry, inspiring students for their future projects and career paths. During the visit, students were welcomed by company officials Vijay Kumar and Gaurav Kumar. HR Executive, Ayushi Officer Advertiser, and Vishwas Assistant Advertiser presented an introductory presentation on the company's history, growth in the fashion industry, and its current presence in the global market.The industrial visit provided students with hands-on experience and exposure to various functional areas, enabling them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
