Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Mandi Gobindgarh students had the unique opportunity to visit the renowned Rashtrapati Bhawan Amrit Udyan New Delhi, as part of an educational excursion aimed at enhancing their understanding of India’s rich heritage and governance. The visit was organized in collaboration with the Rashtrapati Bhawan Secretariat and was attended by 100 students and faculty members from Agriculture, Engineering, Paramedical, CSA, Commerce and Managements. The tour began with a brief introduction to the historical significance of Rashtrapati Bhawan, followed by a guided walk through its beautifully maintained gardens, including the Amrit Udyan, Bal Vatika, Theme Garden,Nature's Classroom and Musical Fountain which are celebrated for their stunning design and seasonal floral displays.Dr.Zora Singh Chancellor and Dr. Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor of DBU said that this visit offers our students a rare glimpse into a significant aspect of India’s history and architectural excellence. It’s an invaluable experience that bridges classroom learning with real-world insights.
