The Swachhata Pakwadas event, conducted under the auspices of the Swachh Bharat/Unnat Bharat Cell at Desh Bhagat University was a highly successful initiative aimed at promoting environmental consciousness through artistic expression. It was held in the collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the Fine Arts Department. The event was a testament to the university's commitment to fostering a culture of cleanliness and sustainability. The event’s main focus was a Swachhata thematic painting competition, designed to engage students creatively while underscoring the importance of environmental stewardship. Dr. Yeti Dutt, Dr. Sachin Bhardwaj, Nodal Officer for the Unnat Bharat/Swachh Bharat Cell and Miss Shivangi Sood played pivotal roles in organizing the event. The Swachhata thematic paintings activity was conducted with great enthusiasm and participation. In painting competition Mahima Sharma won the 1st Prize, while Jatin Kumar was awarded with second prize and Anjali from the Department of Agriculture and Life Sciences was honored with the third Prize. Each winner was presented with a certificate and a trophy, celebrating their achievements and encouraging continued engagement in environmental initiatives.The success of the Swachhata Pakwadas event was further supported by the valuable contributions of Dr. H K Sidhu and Dr. Arshdeep Singh, Students Welfare Officer.
