Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Organises A Talk on the Issues of Punjabi Society

 

 

The Department of Sociology of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University organised an Extension Lecture on “Social Problems of Punjabi Society”. Prof. Harvinder Singh Bhatti was the resource person. Prof. Bhatti discussed a range of social issues affecting Punjabi society, including Drug Abuse, Unemployment, Migration, Environmental Degradation, and Politics. He provided a deep analysis of these challenges and offered insights into potential solutions for the community. Prof. Jamsheed Ali Khan from Political Science Department, Prof. Jaspal Kaur Kaang from Religious Studies Department, Dr. Ankdeep Kaur Attwal, Coordinator, IQAC, Jaspreet Kaur, Head, Department of English, Narinder Kaur, In-charge, Department of Social Sciences, and Dr. Balwinder Kaur, Assistant Professor in Political Science attended the lecture as special guests. Dr.Nav Shagan Deep Kaur, Head, Department of Sociology welcomed the guests and Paramdeep Singh presented the vote of thanks.
