DBU and Republic of Liberland Signs MoU for Sustainable Development and Innovation

In a strategic move to promote sustainable development through education and international cooperation, Desh Bhagat University (DBU) (NAAC GRADE A+), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Liberland. The agreement, themed "Fostering Innovation and Global Academic Alliances for Sustainable Development," aims to strengthen ties between the two for focusing on innovation, research, and collaborative efforts to address global challenges.
H E Mr. Vit Jedlicka, the President of the Republic of Liberland, met with Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor and Dr Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, along with other university officials, to discuss potential collaborations and innovative educational initiatives. Mohit Srivastava, founder Movastacon Foundation, Ivan Pernar, Secretary, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti,Vice President DBU, were also present on the occasion.  Before this MoU was signed in a formal ceremony held at Desh Bhagat University campus, with dignitaries from both Liberland and DBU present. Dr. Harsh Sadawarti,Vice President DBU, signed the pact on behalf of Desh Bhagat University and H.E. Mr. Vit Jedlicka, President of the Republic of Liberland signed on behalf of the Republic of Liberland. H.E. Mr. Vit Jedlicka, President of Liberland, praised the collaboration, stating, “This partnership with Desh Bhagat University represents a pivotal moment for Liberland’s engagement with the global academic community. Dr. Harsh Sadawarti,Vice President DBU said that “This MoU with the Republic of Liberland is a testimony to DBU’s commitment to internationalization and fostering a spirit of innovation. Our collaboration will provide students and faculty with the unique opportunity to engage in research and entrepreneurship initiatives that align with global trends and emerging technologies.”
Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor and Dr Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, expressed their excitement about the partnership, adding, "We are confident that this collaboration will not only enhance the academic experience for our students but also contribute to the overall growth and development of the educational landscape."
