Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College (BBSBEC) proudly secured the First Runner-Up position in the prestigious IKGPTU Intercollege Football Tournament, held from October 8 to 10, 2024. The tournament saw the participation of 14 teams from colleges affiliated with IKG Punjab Technical University.
In a thrilling final match, BBSBEC showcased excellent skill and teamwork, narrowly missing the championship title. Principal Dr. Lakhvir Singh congratulated the team for their commendable performance and praised their determination and sportsmanship.Dr. Lakhvir Singh emphasized that sports are not just about winning but also about learning, perseverance, and personal development. He expressed confidence that the college team would achieve even greater success in the future.Director of Sports, Dr. Manish Gogna, expressed his delight over the disciplined and well-organized event.Gurmeet Singh Tohra and Rajandeep Kaur shared their thoughts as well, noting that the tournament helped players develop new skills and strategies.The event saw the presence of Deans, faculty members, and department heads, all of whom lauded the players' dedication and the organizing committee's efforts in hosting such a successful event.
