The IKGPTU Intercollege Hockey Tournament kicked off today at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College (BBSBEC), Fatehgarh Sahib. This much-anticipated event has gathered the teams from colleges under IKG Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) for an intense two-day competition.Key figures in the Organizing Committee include Dr. Manish Gogna, Director of Sports, Gurmeet Singh Tohra, and Rajandeep Kaur. The opening ceremony showcased the enthusiasm and energy of the participating teams and dignitaries. In his welcome address, Dr. Lakhvir Singh, Principal of BBSBEC, greeted all the teams and commended the organizing committee for their dedicated work in bringing this event together. He highlighted the significant role of sports in fostering students' holistic development and urged participants to compete with integrity and respect.The occasion was further graced by Deans, department heads, and senior faculty members, all of whom joined to encourage and support this exciting tournament.
