Heavy fall in the temperature of Punjab and Chandigarh, AQI crossed 300 in 6 cities

The month of October has often seen it get cold by this time but this year the cold has not hit yet. Along with this, the temperature of Punjab and Chandigarh has dropped drastically today. The cold has become more severe in many districts and villages of Punjab. The temperature is constantly changing in all the cities of Punjab including Chandigarh.

While a slight drop of 0.1 degrees has been recorded in the average temperature of Punjab, a change of 1.3 degrees has been seen in Chandigarh. The maximum temperature in Chandigarh has reached 33.9 degrees and the minimum temperature has reached close to 17 degrees. Bathinda and Faridkot, the hottest cities in Punjab, recorded temperatures of 35.9 degrees, while Pathankot, the coldest city, recorded 14.4 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will continue to drop in the coming days. More changes will be seen after Diwali. However, there is no chance of rain for a week and North India will remain dry and cold. Amid this climate change, pollution is constantly suffocating people.

There is also a new update on Punjab weather. In fact, the Meteorological Department has predicted a sudden increase in cold in the state. The department says that the state's weather may change from October 26, due to which the cold will increase. In such a situation, the department has advised the people of Punjab to remove warm clothes.
