Desh Bhagat University Celebrates 12 Years of Academic Excellence on Foundation Day

Desh Bhagat University (DBU) proudly celebrated its 12th Foundation Day with a vibrant event attended by esteemed faculty, dedicated staff, and enthusiastic students. The celebration highlighted DBU’s legacy of growth, excellence, and global reach in education. Adding to the event’s significance, S. Hardev Singh, a respected advocate, graced the occasion as the special guest, bringing words of encouragement and inspiration.
Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr Tajinder Kaur shared their vision for DBU’s future: “Our university was founded to provide inclusive, quality education that empowers individuals and benefits society as a whole. DBU will continue to expand its global presence, foster innovation, and remain a beacon of opportunity and learning for students worldwide.” Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhijit Joshi emphasized DBU’s commitment to excellence and research: “As we look to the future, our aim is to drive DBU forward as a center for cutting-edge knowledge and a leader in global education. We are dedicated to advancing our research initiatives and setting new standards in academia.” The celebrations featured colorful cultural performances by students, showcasing the diversity and talent within the DBU community. Students presented cultural items from various Indian states, and international students added to the festivity by showcasing their unique talents and traditions, truly capturing DBU’s spirit of inclusivity and global unity. Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadawarti expressed gratitude to all in attendance: “Thank you to our DBU family – students, parents, faculty, and staff – for your commitment and support in making this institution what it is today. Together, we are shaping a brighter future and upholding the legacy of DBU.”
