Shri Arun Gupta, District and Sessions Judge, inaugurated a first aid room for the convenience of the general public, lawyers, and other staff members at the District Court complex today through Divayangjan children. On this occasion, he also inspected the exhibition of handicrafts made by Divayangjan children of District Resource Center, Sirhind, and also bought lamps, candles, and other items regarding Diwali.While interacting with the media, Gupta said that in today's fast, and busy life, many diseases have surrounded human beings, and some times the judges, lawyers, and common people who come to the courts suddenly face health-related issues. So to tackle such situations first is a necessity. He said that an expert physician would sit in the first aid room and provide first aid to the needy before taking them to the hospital. Soon an ambulance would be arranged at the district court complex so that any needy person can be taken to the civil hospital without any delay. The District and Sessions Judge, while reviewing the exhibition of the products prepared by the divayangjan children on the occasion of Diwali, said that these children are an integral part of our society, and it is our duty to provide a platform for these children so that they could move forward. We should also take care of the needs of these children. He said that by organizing such exhibitions, the inner talent of these children comes out, which would further boost the courage of these children. He also thanked Dr. Sona Thind, Deputy Commissioner, for the support she gave to open this first aid room at the district court complex. On this occasion, Additional District and Sessions Judge Anshul Berry, Additional District and Sessions Judge Sonia Kinra, Principal Judge of Family Court Vijay Kumar, Senior Judge Civil Division Jagbir Singh, Chief Judicial Magistrate Pamelpreet Grewal Kahlon, Additional Civil Judge Senior Division Krishnanuja Mittal, Civil Judge Junior Division Ankita Gupta, Civil Judge Junior Division Renu Goyal, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Deepti Goyal, Bar Association President & senior Advocate Amardeep Singh Dharni and other officials also purchased the products prepared by the divayangjan children.
