Children’s day celebrations at Desh Bhagat Global School

 

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Children’s day was celebrated with great festivity and fervour by the students of Desh Bhagat Global School (DBGS), Mandi Gobindgarh. The children’s day programme had a series of interesting and exciting events, all planned meticulously for the complete entertainment of the children.The programme began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers, followed by a fun and frolic filled cultural show. Heart touching songs, humorous skits inspirational thoughts, mesmerizing dances presented by the teachers made every child’s day special and memorable. Fun races like lemon and spoon races, sack race, Kangaroo races etc. were organised for junior students. Inter house volleyball matches were also organised for senior students. DBGS faculty performed morning assembly with prayer, news, thought of the day followed by PT exercises. A beautiful skit was also presented by teachers on this special day. The Principal Ms Indu Sharma imparted her best wishes to every child. The Chairman Dr. Zora Singh and General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur congratulated all the children on this special day.
