Humanity Against Hunger 4.0 was a highly successful food donation drive, organized at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) hospital .
During the event, over 110 packed thalis were distributed to patients and families waiting outside the hospital premises. The drive specifically aimed to support those enduring long hours in the sun, many of whom had been waiting for their medical treatments since early morning. The turnout highlighted the pressing need for food support in such locations, and the atmosphere was filled with gratitude and positivity as the recipients expressed their appreciation to the organizers.
The Rotaract Club of Legis Social Chandigarh is driven by the belief that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful impact. With each thali handed out, the club received blessings from those they served, affirming their commitment to community service and the cause of fighting hunger which provided essential nourishment to those in need and fostered a sense of reinforcing the importance of caring for one another. The event was headed by Rtr. Riya Sood , President, Rtr. Avi, Director Community Services, Rtr. Devangi Chandel, Director International Services, Rtr. Anant Tandon, Joint Secretary and it was presided over by the rotary members Rtn Jatinder Kapoor president rotary club chd, Rtn Arun Aggarwal joint seceratory rotary club chd.
