Gidderbaha, November 18
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Cabinet Minister Aman Arora today launched a sharp attack on Congress leaders Raja Warring, Charanjit Singh Channi and BJP candidate Manpreet Singh Badal during a press conference in Gidderbaha. Arora accused former MLAs of Gidderbaha (Raja Warring and Manpreet Badal) of neglecting the region and indulging in corrupt practices to maintain their grip on power.
"Raja Warring is Dissatisfied with the System After His Vehicle and Workers Were Caught with Cash Meant for Vote-Buying"
Addressing the media, Arora condemned Raja Warring for his failed leadership and his resorting to corrupt tactics to win elections. "Raja Warring, who has been elected three times, has done nothing for the development of Gidderbaha. His frustration is now visible—he was caught in a desperate attempt to buy votes. Police seized cash and a vehicle linked to his workers who were engaged in vote-buying. Instead of respecting the law, Warring confronted the police in an attempt to escape accountability. This is the extent to which he is willing to go to retain power," Arora stated. "The people of Gidderbaha see through his lies, and they are determined not to let his corrupt politics continue."
"Charanjit Channi's Recent Remarks Are Shameful and Harm the Dignity of Women"
Arora also targeted former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for his recent derogatory comments about women. "Charanjit Channi’s words were not only disrespectful but also harmful to the dignity of women. For a leader who once held the office of Chief Minister, to stoop so low in attacking political opponents using such vulgar and divisive language is beyond unacceptable," Arora said. "This type of rhetoric is not just damaging to the political climate but also undermines the respect and equality that every woman deserves."
"Congress Candidate Amrita Warring Stood Silent While Channi Insulted Women; She Should Have Objected"
Turning his focus to Amrita Warring, the Congress candidate from Gidderbaha, Arora criticized her for failing to speak out against Channi's remarks. "Amrita Warring was present during Channi's speech, but instead of standing up for the dignity of women, she chose to remain silent. She should have immediately objected to Channi's shameful remarks. But she didn’t, and that speaks volumes about her lack of integrity and leadership," Arora added. "The people of Gidderbaha deserve a leader who will stand up for them, not one who turns a blind eye to such disgraceful behavior."
On Manpreet Singh Badal, Arora accused him of abandoning Gidderbaha. "Despite being the representative of Gidderbaha and holding the crucial position of Finance Minister, twice, Manpreet Badal did nothing for the constituency. His focus was always on aligning with the corrupt Badal family, while the people of Gidderbaha were left behind. Now, as a BJP candidate, he has already lost the trust of the people, and Gidderbaha deserves a leader who will prioritize their needs, not his political survival," Arora said.
"The People of Gidderbaha Are Tired of the Lies and Corruption and Have Decided to Elect Dimpy Dhillon"
In a strong closing statement, Arora emphasized that the people of Gidderbaha are fed up with the corruption and lies of Congress. "The time for empty promises is over. The people of Gidderbaha are tired of the corruption and deceit that Raja Warring, Charanjit Channi, and Manpreet Badal represent. They have made up their minds to vote for change, and they are rallying behind Dimpy Dhillon, who has proven to be a leader of integrity and action," Arora declared. "Under Dimpy Dhillon’s leadership, Gidderbaha will see the development it truly deserves."
