The NCC Cadets of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College (BBSBEC), Fatehgarh Sahib, organized a meaningful visit to Kusht Ashram, Sirhind, under the guidance of Flying Officer Gagandeep Singh, Associate NCC Officer. This visit aimed to raise awareness among the cadets about the lives and needs of the underprivileged, fostering essential human values such as humanity, compassion, resource mobilization, and a sense of community affinity.Principal Dr. Lakhvir Singh commended the NCC unit's efforts and emphasized that all human beings are creations of the same God, and no one should face discrimination. In his message, he encouraged everyone to embody these values in their daily lives.
During the visit, the Principal, college staff, and cadets actively contributed to the cause by distributing grocery kits, clothes, and shoes to the residents of the Ashram, spreading warmth and support.The occasion also witnessed the presence of Dr. Sanjiv Bhandari, Dr. Sanjiv Sharma, Dr. Ishpreet Singh and Dr. Supreet Singh, who supported and appreciated the noble initiative.
This visit not only enriched the cadets with life lessons but also reaffirmed BBSBEC’s commitment to community service and social responsibility.
