Amritsar Counter Intelligence has busted a gang smuggling legal arms. In this regard, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav has given information by sharing a post on X.
Counter Intelligence, Amritsar arrested 2 persons from Noorpur Level, near Gharinda, Amritsar while they were waiting for another operative to hand over a consignment of arms smuggled from Pakistan. An FIR was registered under the Arms Act at the State Special Operation Cell, Amritsar.
8 sophisticated weapons which includes 4 Glock Pistols (Made in #Austria), 2 Turkiye 9mm Pistols and 2 X-Shot Zigana .30 bore Pistols along-with 10 rounds are recovere.
