The temperature of Punjab and Chandigarh is continuously decreasing. On Sunday, the temperature in Punjab dropped by 1.6 degrees and in Chandigarh by 2.6 degrees. This decline will continue in the coming days. Apart from Chandigarh, an alert has been issued regarding fog in Punjab.
Indeed, the Western Disturbance is active. Due to which there was rain and snow in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. Due to which the temperature of Punjab has decreased. Due to this Western Disturbance, rain is likely to occur in many districts of Punjab.
Apart from this, there is fog alert in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Rupnagar, Patiala, SAS Nagar and Malerkotla in Punjab.
So far, an alert has been issued regarding the fog in Punjab and Chandigarh. But from December 11, cold will bother you. It is snowing in the hill districts adjacent to Punjab-Chandigarh. Cooler winds are now moving from the mountains to the plains. The Meteorological Department has now issued a yellow alert of cold wave on and after December 11.
