Ludhiana, December 12:
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has gained further strength in Ludhiana. Former Congress in charge of Atam Nagar and currently a BJP leader, Kamaljit Singh Karwal, joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday.
Along with Kamaljit Singh, several other Congress and BJP leaders also joined the Aam Aadmi Party. These include former Congress councilor Gurpreet Singh Gopi, Congress leaders Sukhwinder Singh Kochar and Baljinder Singh Kahlon, Lok Insaf Party leader Vikrant Sharma, former BJP councilor Ranjit Singh Ubhi, Baljinder Singh Kahlon, a current district council member, Jagjit Singh Bham, and BJP leaders Davinder Singh Walia, Sukhwant Singh Ubhi, Ravi Sharma Neeta, Ranveer Singh Ubhi, and Preet Gudani.
All leaders were formally inducted into the party by Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President Aman Arora at the party's Chandigarh office, who extended a warm welcome to them into the AAP family. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, the party's co-president Amansher Singh Sharry Kalsi, MLA Dev Mann, AAP leader Dr. Sunny Ahluwalia, and senior party spokesperson Neel Garg were also present.
Welcoming all the leaders into the party, Aman Arora said that the Aam Aadmi Party is receiving positive responses from people across all regions in the municipal elections. He added that the consistent joining of leaders from various parties into AAP reflects that the Aam Aadmi Party is poised for a big victory in these elections. He assured all the new members that they would be given due respect in the party.
