Chandigarh, 23 April:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chandigarh held a major protest today under the leadership of state president Jitender Pal Malhotra against Pakistan. Thousands of people raised slogans of “Pakistan Murdabad” and strongly opposed Pakistan’s terrorist activities. After the protest, an effigy of Pakistan was also burned, symbolizing the party’s anger against Pakistan.
State president Jitender Pal Malhotra stated on this occasion, “India will not tolerate any attacks on its sovereignty and security. Pakistan must stop its terrorist activities. This protest is a symbol of our commitment to national security.”
Rambeer Bhatti said, “The security of our country comes first. We will not tolerate Pakistan’s terrorist actions at any cost. Through this protest, we want to send a clear message that any attack on India’s unity and integrity will not be tolerated.”
Furthermore, Malhotra expressed deep concern over the recent incident in Srinagar. He said, “The incident in Srinagar is tragic. We stand with the families of the victims and hope that the culprits are swiftly punished. This incident is unacceptable and must be taken seriously.”
The protest was attended by BJP Chandigarh’s vice president Rambeer Bhatti, Davinder Singh, Shakti Prakash Daivshali, Jagtar Singh Jaga, and former state president Arun Sood, along with several senior leaders and workers. The citizens of Chandigarh also actively participated in the protest, expressing their opposition against anti-national forces.
Malhotra also expressed support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong response, saying, “We have full faith in Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. There will be a strong response to Pakistan’s actions. We trust that the Modi government will take every possible step to ensure the security of the country.”
This protest was another step in strengthening BJP’s fight against Pakistan’s terrorist activities and for national security
