Pathankot, April 26 (Raman kalia)

It is only due to our brave soldiers who guard the Nation's borders that we are breathing in the air of freedom and able to sleep peacefully. The Punjab Government led by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the District Administration stands shoulder to shoulder with these valiant BSF jawans and assured them of every support and assistance.

These views were expressed by the Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak during his visit to the Simble Sakol check post here today at the Indo - Pak International border. He was accompanied by the DC Aditya Uppal, SSP Daljinder Singh Dhillon, District President BC Wing Naresh Kumar Saini, Block President Rajesh Kumar, Sarpanch Khojki Chak Joginder Pal, Sarpanch Bamiyal Munish alias Chhotu, Commandant BSF Suresh Singh.

The Minister also laid wreath on the memorial of Shaheed Kamaljit Singh.

During his address, Mr. Kataruchak divulged that 11 posts of BSF are situated along the Indo - Pak International border in the Pathankot District and the biggest of them all is known by the name of Simble Sakol. The Pakistan border lies 200 Metres away from here.
