Faculty Development Programme: “Pharmacy Education and Research - Present & Future Challenges organized by DBU

Faculty of Pharmacy, Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh organized the Online Six Days Faculty Development Programme titled “Pharmacy Education and Research- Present & Future Challenges. Inaugural Function of Online Six days Faculty Development Programme was graced with presence of  Dr. Zora Singh Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University. In his talk, he explained about the importance of research for the growth and development as well he emphasized the importance of collaborative work he also congratulated and motivated the faculty for organizing the faculty development programme. Under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Abhijit H Joshi addresses current and emerging issues in the field of pharmacy education and research. This six-day program likely focuses on enhancing the knowledge and skills of faculty members, enabling them to adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of pharmacy education and tackle future challenges effectively. Dr Shailesh Kumar Gupta, Principal, S.Lal Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy and Miss Khuspal,Principal,Mata Jarnail K College of Pharmacy have  also joined the six days faculty development program. Welcome address given by Dr. Puja Gulati (Principal) School of Pharmacy and Ms. Kirti (Assistant Professor) was the overall host for the day-1 of the Online Six Days Faculty Development Programme. In this online discussion Dr. Amit Bhatia  (Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda, Punjab), Dr. Naveen Khatri  (Pt. B. D.Sharma, University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana), Dr. Anoop Kumar (Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (DIPSAR), Delhi), Dr. Kiran C. Mahajan, Professor, Shri Gajanand Maharaj Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s SharadChandra Pawar College of Pharmacy, Pune, Maharashtra), Dr. Naveen Khatri (College of Pharmacy, Pt. B. D.Sharma, University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana), Prof Dr.Manish Kumar, (ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga Punjab), Dr.Syed Mahmood, (University of Malaya, Kaula, Lumpur, Malaysia) has participated actively. At last vote of thanks was given by Dr. Puja Gulati (Principal) School of Pharmacy and Ms. Shivani Pannu (Assistant Professor).
