Acting on intelligence, the Punjab Police has busted an inter-state arms smuggling module. This information from Punjab D. G. P Gaurav Yadav has shared on his X account.Acting on intelligence, Punjab Police busted an inter-state arms smuggling module and arrested two operatives of foreign terrorist Lakhbir alias Landa and recovered six modern pistols along with magazines and ammunition, he said.
He further said that State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) in Amritsar F. I. R. was registered Investigations are on to arrest the rest of the accused and establish forward and backward links to eradicate illegal arms smuggling from Madhya Pradesh. Strict action will be taken against all those involved in organized crime and illegal arms networks. He said that Punjab Police is 100% committed as per the instructions of Hon'ble Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
