A protest march was taken out from Mata Gujri College, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Chowk in the city against the shameful incidents of rape happening in the country. Jathedar Jagdeep Singh Cheema, National General Secretary, Halka Incharge, Shromni Akali Dal, participated in the protest march. Apart from him, Jathedar Avtar Singh Raya, former Junior Vice President, SGPC Gurmeet Singh Sonu Cheema, Narinder Singh Rasidpur, Circle President, Bant Singh Mandofal, Gurdip Singh Naulakha, Surinder Singh Bassi Pathana, Simranjit Singh Grewal, Gurpreet Singh Ginny, Buta Singh, Taufiq Randhawa, Lovpreet Singh, and Baljinder Singh Dhillon, along with a large number of students and youth, also participated. Jathedar Jagdeep Singh Cheema, National General Secretary, and Chief Sevadar, Halka Fatehgarh Sahib, expressed gratitude to the students for participating in large numbers in the peaceful protest march, reciting the Jap of Waheguru.
