The Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle Unit of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College (BBSBEC) recently organized the "Most Aware Singh and Kaur" event. This event was organized to welcome the new students and make the students aware of the Sikh history and traditions. Dr. Supreet Singh, Incharge, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle unit welcomed the chief guest, participants and audience.The chief guest was Avneet Singh, who is an entrepreneur. The guest of honour was Sahibnoor Singh. The chief guest addressed the students and reinforced to have clear vision about their goals. He also shared the importance of staying connected to one’s roots.The principal Dr. Lakhvir Singh, thanked the chief guest for sharing his vision with the students. The competition constituted several rounds including audio-visual round and rapid-fire round. Mr. Gurjot Singh was judged “The Most Aware Singh” and Ms. Anterpreet Kaur was awarded with “Most Aware Kaur”. The event successfully highlighted BBSBEC's dedication to promoting Sikh history and tradition amongst its students, ensuring that these values may be cherished by future generations. At this moment, College students performed Gataka event.
