DBU Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh Honored with 'Jewels of Punjab' Award

 

Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh is proud to announce that Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and President Dr Sandeep Singh has been honored with the prestigious Jewels of Punjab Award. This esteemed accolade recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the cultural, educational and social fabric of Punjab and beyond.
The Jewels of Punjab Award is presented by Nitin Gadkari minister of the Road Transport and Highways of India. This award annually presented by the Dainik Bhaskar and this year, Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh has been celebrated for their exceptional leadership, commitment to academic excellence and tireless efforts in fostering cross-cultural understanding. Under Chancellor’s stewardship, Desh Bhgat University has achieved remarkable growth, including advancements in research, improvements in campus facilities and expanded outreach programs that benefit students and communities globally. The award ceremony, held at The Leela palace, Chankyapuri  New Delhi was attended by prominent dignitaries, community leaders and esteemed guests. In their acceptance speech, Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh expressed gratitude to the DBU community, acknowledging that the success of the institution is a collective achievement.
